Punarjanm Funeral Services, LLC, is the realization of a shared vision between Stephen Szczubelek and Robert (Bob) Szczubelek, two experienced funeral professionals, and Shashi Gujral. Established in 2019, our funeral home was born out of a desire to provide specialized funeral services that honor Hindu traditions and customs, combining our expertise in the funeral industry with the invaluable contributions of Shashi Gujral in providing Indian cultural insights.

Stephen and Robert Szczubelek, who have owned and operated Higgins Home For Funerals at 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069 since 2007, have been actively involved in the funeral industry since 2000. It was during their conversations that they realized the absence of funeral homes specializing in Hindu funeral services in the local area. This realization led to the idea of forming Punarjanm Funeral Services, where their expertise in the funeral industry would merge with the knowledge and cultural understanding provided by Shashi Gujral.
