I met Annu in 1990 when I was in law school and she was in dental school. I was depressed at the time and my friend had heard of a young dental student, psychic and palm reader with amazing powers and charm. That was how I met Annu. It was 1 a.m and there was a long line outside a smoke filled dorm room. When it was finally our turn to come in, I peeked in and saw Annu. She was beautiful, smoking, reading palms, and had everyone around her entranced, as she always did. Incredibly, she accurately predicted everything that came after in my life and we eventually became good friends! Annu was extraordinary - brilliant, multi-talented, intuitive, loving, hilarious, complex, mystically magnetic, a fantastic chef, a loyal friend, and ever supernatural. I should have known she was too special to last long in this world. Annu, I had not seen you in years and now you are gone and we cannot go back in time. I will always miss you and love you my dear friend. My condolences to your beloved family to whom you were so devoted! Love always, Meera and family
