Obituary of Kantibhai Umedbhai Patel

We sadly announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, Kantibhai Umedbhai Patel, at the age of 83. He departed for his heavenly abode on June 23rd, 2025. 

Born in Uganda, Africa, our dad took great pride in his African heritage. He was a devoted husband, father, & grandfather. He is survived by his wife Chandirkaben Patel, with whom he recently celebrated 55 years of marriage, having wed in 1971.  He also leaves behind his daughter and Son in Law Rupal and Anuj Patel, and their children, Rani and Sohang; his youngest Daughter and Son in Law Asha and Bhavin Hajariwala, and their children, Siyana and Ishan; and a large, loving family who cherished and respected him dearly. 

Dad was known not only for his unwavering devotion to family and dharma, but also for the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. Whether tending to his garden, traveling to India every year, sharing stories about his time in Africa, or spending quality time and creating unforgettable memories with family and friends, his gentle spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone around him.
