JIGRUKSH TRIVEDI, 39 former Vice President of D.E. Shaw, NY, husband of Sakshi, father of Mahi 8, son of Devarshi Avinashi Trivedi – retired bank manager Central bank of India and Amishi Devarshi Trivedi- house maker, brother of Nirav Trivedi, Pune, took on the final journey in lotus feet of Shreenathji Bava peacefully on Monday June 1, 2020 night at his home in Livingston, NJ in presence of close family members. Born in Vadnagara Nagar, Brahmin family of Petlad. He grew up at Baroda, India. Alumni of MS University, Baroda and Symbiosis Business School, Pune. He was a Chemical Engineer with MBA in finance. He started his career at D.E. Shaw, Hyderabad and married Sakshi Agarwal in 2008 and both moved to USA in 2010. Soon Jigruksh was a promoted to Vice President with D.E. Shaw, NY and Sakshi started working with KPMG. They have a beautiful daughter Mahi age 8 and moved to their dream home in Livingston, NJ in 2017. A tragedy struck in form of Brain cancer in 2016 and Jigruksh was operated at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSKCC) hospital in NYC. But a year later situation changed, and family’s life started taking worst turn. World’s best medical treatment didn’t help. With tremendous support of Sakshi he fought and finally gave up on Monday June 1, 2020. He touched many lives and warmed many hearts with his love and kindness. He was a firm believer in protecting the environment. He avoided using plastics, supported use of using solar and clean sources of energy. Punarjanm Funeral Home, Watchung, NJ is handling Funeral Arrangements. In light of current government restrictions, due to Corona Pandemic, Final Rites will be private and arrangements have been made to live stream services enabling family and friends all over the world to offer prayers and pay their respect. Local family and friends will have the opportunity for visitation to pay respect. CDC guidelines for social distancing and gatherings will be followed. Limited numbers at the discretion of Funeral Home Director will be allowed to walk-in and walk out and wait in the car to watch ceremony on line. “A Luminous light remains where a beautiful soul has passed” – Antoine Bovena
